Meghan Tomlinson

CC-IT

Meghan Tomlinson is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern, providing counseling services under supervision. She has a heart for walking alongside children, adults, and couples during some of life’s most vulnerable and transformative seasons. Her work is grounded in a biblical foundation and a deep respect for each client’s story, values, and lived experience. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and will graduate with her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Townsend Institute at Concordia Irvine in May 2026.

Before stepping into the counseling field, Meghan spent eight years supporting families as a Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator, and serving as a Program Coordinator for an alternative education school. These experiences deepened her passion for perinatal mental health, family systems, and the complex, sacred work of nurturing relationships.

In her clinical practice, Meghan draws from Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to explore thought and behavior patterns and move toward lasting change. She has completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and utilizes this approach to promote self-regulation and enhance emotional connection between the couple. She is currently pursuing specialized training in betrayal trauma and infidelity recovery, with a focus on helping clients process relational wounds and move toward restoration—whether individually or as a couple.

Outside of her work as a counselor and birth worker, Meghan enjoys mountain biking, exploring the outdoors with her husband and three boys, drinking coffee, and tending to her garden.
