Gretchen Poellinger

Gretchen is a licensed professional counselor in training and works with adolescents, adults, and families. Gretchen received her undergraduate degree from Minnesota State University – Mankato in Mankato, Minnesota and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winona State University. Over the last 10 years, Gretchen has worked in a variety of settings in the social service field. She has direct experience working with individuals with varying challenges and has provided behavioral management and mental health services to adults, families, and children in a variety of roles. Gretchen is a member of American Counseling Association.

Gretchen believes counseling is a therapeutic journey where individuals learn to process challenging experiences to allow for a more thriving and meaningful future. In therapy, Gretchen takes great pride in creating a welcoming and warm environment that is built on trust and compassion to empower individuals on their healing journey. 

 

Sometimes life throws us curve balls and our brains and bodies respond in ways that leave us feeling stuck. Our past does not have to define our future and our challenges do not need to keep us living in the past. We all have a unique and incredible story to be told and the beautiful thing is, we can decide how the story ends!
