I am certified as a LCSW in Wisconsin. I earned a BA in Social Work from Luther College in 1980 and my MSSW from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1985.  In my career I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals/clinics as well as community based mental health centers. I have been working as a therapist for the past 24 years. I specialize in trauma and use EMDR as one way of helping people heal. My clients are adults age 18 and over with a wide variety of issues, including grief, stress, anxiety, depression, health issues and adjustment to life events.

I believe that therapy can be a process to help people work through hard things in their lives and find new paths and strategies. I really enjoy working with clients to better their lives and help facilitate change. While therapy can be challenging, it is also very rewarding and uplifting.
